MEET BLAKE
Dr. Blake Robison is a local business owner and educator with the management, hiring, operations, and budget experience Gilbert Public Schools needs on its Board. Blake earned Masters degrees in Education and Science in addition to his training as an Orthodontist and spent the first few years of his career teaching at his Alma Mater. He has extensive experience serving on national and state organization Board of Trustees, committees and Task Forces. Blake also is a long time Cub Scout leader and youth sports coach with a strong sense of giving back to the community.
Blake is passionate about education and is running to make Gilbert Public Schools the gold standard for education in Arizona. He wants every student to graduate from GPS feeling they received the very best possible preparation for their post high school plans. He is a long time GPS volunteer and parent advocate, having served on several school and district committees. He currently serves on the Master Capital Planning Committee which has prepared him well to ensure fiscal responsibility and transparency as a Board member.
Blake and his wife, Addi, have been married for 22 years and have 4 sons. They’re still trying to get used to their oldest graduating from GPS this year! With 3 kids currently attending GPS, Blake is heavily invested every day in GPS and has his finger on the pulse of the district. As a family they love all things basketball, RV road trips, and movie nights.
